Joseph C. De Angelis is an associate at Brewster & De Angelis, PLLC. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado Law School in 2019, after earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma.

In law school, Joseph was an editor of the Colorado Law Review. His article, Who Guards the Guardians? Simplifying the Discovery of Electronic Medical Records was published in 90 Colo. L. Rev. 317 (2019). Joseph’s work experience before joining the firm was primarily with judges at various courts. In law school, he completed externships with the Hon. William W. Hood, III, at the Colorado Supreme Court and the Hon. Chief Judge Michael A. Martinez at the Second Judicial District Court in Denver, Colorado. After law school, he completed a two-year clerkship with the Hon. Anthony J. Navarro at the Colorado Court of Appeals. His work at the various courts encompassed a broad range of practice areas, including wrongful death, medical malpractice, personal injury, fraud, defamation, civil rights violations, administrative appeals, criminal law, family law, First Amendment, searches, and seizures, and property law.

Joseph is admitted to practice before the Oklahoma and Colorado Bars.
